What to Expect
Whether you've been Anglican your whole life or are visiting an Anglican church for the first time, you'll receive a warm welcome at St. John's. Our worship follows the 1962 Book of Common Prayer, a beautiful pattern of Scripture, prayer, hymns, and Holy Communion that has shaped Anglican worship for generations. While the service is reverent, it's also relaxed—you won't be expected to know exactly what to do. Visitors are always welcome to participate as they feel comfortable.
Sunday Worship
Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month.
Morning Prayer is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Most services last about one hour.
What Should I Wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable.
Some people dress more formally, while others come casually. You'll find a variety of styles, and there's no expectation to dress a particular way.
Children & Families
Children are always welcome at St. John's. While we don't currently offer a formal Sunday School program, children worship alongside the congregation, and families are warmly welcomed.
After the Service
One of the joys of St. John's is what happens after worship.
Most Sundays we gather next door in our Parish Hall for tea, coffee, lunch, and conversation.
It's a relaxed opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and get to know the community. Visitors are warmly invited to stay.
