What to Expect
Whether you've been Anglican your whole life or have never stepped inside a church before, you'll receive a warm welcome at St. John's. Our worship follows the Book of Common Prayer, a beautiful pattern of Scripture, prayer, hymns, and Holy Communion that has shaped Anglican worship for generations. While the service is reverent, it's also relaxed—you won't be expected to know exactly what to do.Visitors are always welcome to participate as they feel comfortable.
Sunday Worship
Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month.
Morning Prayer is celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Most services last about one hour.
What Should I Wear?
Whatever makes you comfortable.
Some people dress more formally, while others come casually. You'll find a variety of styles, and there's no expectation to dress a particular way.
Children & Families
Children are always welcome at St. John's.While we don't currently offer a formal Sunday School program, we value having children worship alongside the congregation. We believe every generation has a place in the life of the Church, and we are always delighted to welcome young families.
After the Service
One of the joys of St. John's is what happens after worship.
Most Sundays we gather downstairs for tea, coffee, lunch, and conversation.
It's a relaxed opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and get to know the community. Visitors are warmly invited to stay.
